Welcome to the Southern California Public Labor Relations Council

SCPLRC is the leading human resources organization in the Southern California area for public agencies. By providing tools, resources, and information for the public sector SCPLRC works to enhance the image of the human resources profession through ongoing professional, personal and organizational development.

Over 400 professionals representing 90 agencies (cities, counties, special districts) participate in various conferences, training, and monthly workshops. The main objectives for SCPLRC are to:

  • Enhance the management of labor relations in the public sector
  • Provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas pertaining to labor relations
  • Foster collaborative efforts among management representatives from local public agencies in the resolution of labor relations problems.
